The readers’wall
REBEL X has no press clippings and has never chased any. What he has is readers, and readers write. Everything on this wall was written by a real person with the book in their hands.
“Each and every poem included in this book is promised to give you goosebumps · the author speaks the words that are always on your mind but never come on your tongue. An absolutely amazing journey of finding one’s self and God.”
Hung as received
The poet keeps these in an Instagram highlight named, simply, family. Dozens more are being framed for this wall; it grows every time the frames arrive.
“It’s the ramblings of an ordinary servant of God. Thoughts and words which you might relate to · it’s certainly something that will reach the depths of your heart, should you keep it open.”
“The poet has chosen such a subject which is not easy to address. The diction is very simple and easy · he plays with words in a way which is comprehensible almost for all the readers.”
“I’m in love with your book. I read it 7 times…”
“I never read a more beautiful piece from Pakistan than yours… Rebel X, keep spreading magic. You have strong Shams vibes with you.”
“Brother, to be honest, after reading this story I started crying. I don’t know why, but this story is kind of related with me. May Allah give you happiness and sawab for writing this book. Ameen.”
The longer correspondence
Some letters are too long for a frame and too good to trim much. Two are displayed here as they arrived, spelling and all; a museum does not correct its donors.
“Yesterday I read your book. I was seein’ for half hour to complete the book in, but it took ma 1 hour bcz I was also translating every bit of it to ma czns who use to live in village and not understand english much… When I read half of the book I raised ma head and what I saw shrink my heart: my czns, they all were shedding tears. I then read the whole book, and when it was all done they all got near around me and said plz plz can you ask this writer that what was the thing which made him this much gratifying… They all were sending lots of duas and Salam.”

“And then I run towards some people, not talking to them. Just reading their poetries, their writings. And I connect with few of their art. And you’re one of them. Your posts on instagram gave words to my emotions. Its like ‘finding in unidentified language’. I want to say thank you but I don’t want to limit everything just by saying ‘thank you’.”
